OOC: AWA Thread for those who want to join: HereIC: Vazgoronaril flew over the lands his great dragonic wings beating the air. His eyes soon sighted someone or something below him, and being ever the curious one he couldn't help but to swoop down to see in greater detail, his forelegs tucked up beneath him, his hindlegs kept out of his way, the long lions tail straight behind him, his whole shape as aerodynamic as one could get. As he came into land he lowered his hind legs breaking his speed slightly with his wings. Admittedly he flew faster, but it was always wise to approach anything curious on foot.

Icarus glanced behind her, her eyes misted and moist with tears. This would be the last time she would see that tiny hut, belonging to the sage, Arichtosu. She had spent seven long years there, and would miss the crazy old man. He had taught her so much, including how to control her power-her 'curse' as she had once called it. He had been the one to wake her when she slipped into the dream of the Graveyard, where the masks tormented her. She would miss the old fool. But time was running out. Siorann, the new Great Warlock, was joining with something called Cult N. She couldn't afford for her enemy to gain allies.
She heard something way above her head, but did not look up. If she was in trouble, she could get out of trouble by Harmonixing quickly. Kaelos burned her very soul as she thought of the Fire demon. The something had gone now, seemingly, but she heard it coming again, behind her this time. She spun around, and gripped her crossbow in her hand. Maybe she wouldn't need to Harmonix.

Vaz slowed his akward pace slightly his great head with those powerful curved horns partly lowered and he turned sidewards to allow himself to see her out of his good eye. You could also see the tattoo on one shoulder, reading XVI. (16 in roman numerals) "If you are no part or ally of Cult N you would be wise to lower that weapon," he said his voice slightly growled . He clawed the ground with one clawed forefoot.
He kept his wings furled back his eye regarding the person who stood before him. In the light the scales glittered as did the sharp deadly claws on his wings. His tail lashed against his sides as he waited for the response

Icarus was amazed at this creature which had come out of nowhere. It was like nothing she had ever seen before. Part horse and part lion, with the wings of a dragon. She was even more surprised when it spoke to her. She did lower the crossbow though, with thoughts to the creatures strength, she prepared Kaelos. "Who are you?" She asked, although it sounded more like a demand. She kept her cloaks hood up, concealing her face, although her eyes glowed red in the shadows.

"I know only one name, Blue 16," was all he responded shifting his weight slightly his wings relaxing. "If I've had any other names, I do not know them any more," he added on snorting before shaking his head, only the tips of the spikes moving slightly as he moved, the rest remaining totally static.
Never though did he take his eyes of Icarus. "May I enquire as to your name?" he added on, the hint of sarcasm to his voice

"Icarus." Icarus replied. She put her crossbow in its holster, and removed the bolt. She put her hood down, revealing her dark brown, almost black hair and red eyes. She felt more relaxed now. If Blue 16 was going to attack, he would have done so by now. She backed away. Arichtosu was too far away for her to call him now, but she would manage. She stopped, and glanced at Blue 16. "I'm looking for a man named Siorann. He's joined up with a group called Cult N. He is a great enemy of mine." She explained very softly.

Vaz gave an angry snort at the mention of Cult N. He loathed them. "I'm just out to keep Cult N from ruining anyone elses lives.... like they ruined mine," his head drooped slightly. He had a few scars across his flanks... they were from his own former pack. They'd not wanted him. Not anymore. He was truly an outcast.
Suddenly he raised his head. "Yet, if I give in, they'll have won, and they'll never win. Not when they are so vile, and so uncaring what happens to the failed experiments,"

"Is that right? Well, I have no idea what you are, but...I'm a Harmonixer, one of five known in the world. My father, Nicolai, defeated a warlock named Ragnec two years ago. He too was a Harmonixer." Icarus said. She slung her bag over her back, knocking out a small talisman in the shape of a teardrop. "Dammit..." She stooped to pick it up. It burned her hand. The blue gem in the center glowed, and changed to green. Her heart sank. It meant that tonight was another graveyard night...or...HE would appear. The man of nightmares, her greatest fear. The man she labeled only as Bear Face, due to the bear mask he wore. He wore the clothes of the army, and looked similar to her father.

"I'm.... I'm a Horagion," was all Vaz said in response. He pawed the ground impatient to be off now. He knew that every second he spent still the more time Cult N had chance to ruin another animals lives. "Cult N want one thing, world domination.... they don't care what price has to be paid either," he gave an angry growl as he unfurled his great wings, really wanting to be off.

Icarus looked at Blue 16, this Horagion creature, noted his desperado and shrugged. "Nobody's making you stay. I'm off to the forest, look for tracks. Maybe practise some Harmonixing in peace." She said. She put the talisman in her pocket, feeling it burning her hand. She let it drop, feeling it pulse gently against her leg. She replaced the cloak over her head, and began to move off, swifter now. She wished she had stayed a while longer with Arichtosu. Goodbye seemed to be forever.
